1. Chuck Webb and Miguel De La Cerna made beautiful music together at a recent Lab School benefit, along with Charlie Roothaan's older brother, Peter. Chuck still teaches at Columbia and appears in the show Jersey Boys! Miguel also teaches and composes.
2. Susan Hack was in visiting from Cairo and writing stories for Conde Nast Traveler. She was on a biking tour of Northern California and was going back for a horseback tour of the same--all the while staying in luxury B&Bs. She really does have a tough life.

(Sponky is the name of a dog we befriended while we were kids in St Vincente Island; has a feel for me as it grows its brand of funky spontaneity--no i did not join a cartoon cult!)
